Lettuce see what we will talk about today

I think the puns are getting better and better. For today's topic of discussion, I will be sharing the story of how we came up with the idea of a mobile market. Almost 4 years ago, the Evansville Oasis team decided to join a local business competition called the UE Changemaker Challenge. The point of the competition is for teams of 3 to come up with a business that will help out the people of Evansville. One of the co-founders had learnt of how food insecurity has impacted people in Jacobsville. Our initial idea was to create a brick and mortar grocery store in Jacobsville so that Jacobsville residents wouldn't have to travel far to purchase their groceries. After meeting with others such as Kelly Coures, we realized that a mobile market would be a more effective idea to implement because not only could we bring their grocery store to people who lack transportation access, but we could also help people outside of Jacobsville. Hence, we switched our idea to a mobile market and we ended up presenting that idea at the Changemaker Challenge. We won that competition and 4 years later, I am here making incredible and thought provoking vegetable puns.
